HTC M7 Spec Revealed

HTC is tipped to launch another range of its flagship mobile device for 2013. This smartphone will come with a latest Android operating system and all the specs usually found on top specs. Leaked specs of this phone revealed that this flagship device will have a 4.7-inch screen that support Full HD 1080p display.

At the moment, this smartphone is being dubbed code name HTC M7 and expect it to change as soon as HTC made any official announcement about it. It will feature big size 486ppi image output because higher display number would deliver high quality image and video. Latest rumours on the internet about this unreleased HTC device suggest that it will run on a 1.7GHZ Quad Core Qualcomm Processor plus 2GB of RAM. Connectivity wise, The M7 would support 4G network because the necessary chip is included to support this kind of connectivity. HTC very own interface named Sense UI will also be part of this device and it will come with version v5.0 of this UI. The HTC M7 is expected to come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The HTC M7 is expected to come with a number of exciting features. It will boast a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a modest 2-megapixel front facing camera which can be used for video chatting. M7 also come with a 2,300 mAH capacity battery that would give M7 a fair amount of battery life. As we all know this would be the next generation of flagship Android smartphone from HTC.

If all the mentioned specs and feature turn out to be correct, then we certainly can see the HTC M7 smartphone challenging for the top position in the industry with the likes of Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. HTC are working their socks off to produce mobile phone that can meet the customer taste and demand. Although HTC has been releasing wide range of model in the recent time, none of them seen enable the company to establish itself as a top player in mobile industry.

With the HTC M7 mobile, it is expected that this smartphone would become a major competitor for Samsung’s next generation of flagship the Galaxy S4 which also a rumoured mobile device that are tipped to replace the highly successful Galaxy S3.

HTC Scrapped Large Windows Phone 8 Plan

Here is one piece of bad news for the lovers of large Windows Phone devices, new report claims that HTC decide to scrap its plan to introduce a Windows Phone 8 with a large display screen that could give the likes of Galaxy Note 2 a run for their money.

Bloomberg report that a person familiar with project claim that HTC had killed its plan for a large screened Windows Phone 8 model citing a large display screen would in turn have a lower screen resolution than on that competing phones, including Android models from HTC and Samsung. Although the details about the phone remain unknown but this HTC Windows Phone 8 originally planned to be introduced sometimes next year.

HTC earlier released two large sized Windows phone variant on the AT&T name the Titan and Titan II which come with 4.7-inch 800X480 display. Windows Phone 8 have the capability to support the higher resolution screen which goes up to 1280X768 and 1280X720. Microsoft’s latest OS currently did not include the support for 1080p Full HD screen that can be seen on Android handsets like the HTC Droid DNA and possibly on the Samsung’s next generation of flagship model, the Galaxy S4.

With Samsung and LG also planned to release its own 1080p Full HD Smartphone, HTC would be playing catch-up even before its hit the market.

This news certainly are a bit unfortunate for Windows Phone fans that have been anticipating a Titan-sized windows phone 8 device from HTC mainly after the arrival of the 8X and 8S which was well received and praised for their design and colors
