The HTC One which is the Taiwanese manufacturer latest
flagship phone that was launched back in March 2013 with an Android 4.1 Jelly
Bean out of the box, and it seems that the company is ready to roll out the
latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the smartphone soon.
Based on a tweet from an employee working as an HTC
Developer, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the company’s latest flagship the
HTC One smartphone could be rolled out in less than two or three weeks from
today although there is no official statement from the Taiwanese company
regarding news on this potential software upgrade.
The latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for HTC One is
expected to come up with some new features to this great smartphone that
include new lock screen widgets, stock gesture enhanced keyboard, quick
settings option and many of such features.
Meanwhile, FocusTaiwan reported last week that HTC is
bracing itself to increase the production of HTC One as the demand in the
market is high. Jack Tong, the company’s North Asia president, noted that May’s
production of capacity for the company flagship device is double that of April
and that these trend will only continue into the month of June.
HTC did not released the details of how many Ones the
company managed to ship out since its launch earlier this year. Meanwhile, HTC
One direct rival, the Samsung’s Galaxy s4 has emerged as the Korean giant’s
fastest selling smartphone. It is revealed that almost 6 million units of Galaxy
S4 has been shipped in just over two weeks and Samsung remain hopeful it will
cross the 10 million mark by the end of this month.

HTC One come with a 4.7-inch 1080p super LCD3 display with a
1.7GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset with 2GB of RAM and “Ultrapixel”
rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera with two storage option (16GB
and 32GB) with no memory card expansion slot. HTC One was launched in Malaysia last month for RM 2,299.
