HTC and PlayStation Mobile delivers free games to Sense 4+ HTC devices.

If you happen to own a HTC phone and are open to trial out some good free Android games, you’re in luck as HTC and PlayStation Mobile have announced recently that they’re teamed up to bring Android users a rather generous amount of free games throughout the month of February. HTC has also announced that they will release a new game to be downloaded every week. At the moment, both the companies have selected Cubixx to be the free game for the first week.

Like many, we ourselves are interested and are looking forward to take advantage of these offers and download our free games. Firstly, the PlayStation Mobile app from Sony has to be download on your HTC device – while this may sound weird, it’s good to mention for those who don’t already know, Sony owns PlayStation Mobile. After installing the PlayStation Mobile app, it is required to create an account from within the app itself. Once that’s done, you should be able to download your free copy of Cubixx.

However, if you’re already an HTC user who has PlayStation Mobile installed, it is possible for you to skip all the steps mentioned above and just start downloading your complimentary apps. Unfortunately, not all HTC devices will be able to take advantage of this great deal, as Sony and HTC are requiring Sense 4+ and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In short, if you’re running anything older than Sense 4+ and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, this great deal from HTC and PlayStation Mobile will not be made available for you.

In addition, apart from HTC devices which fits the criteria above, a handful of Sharp devices and Sony’s very own PlayStation Certified device, other devices will not be able to able to take advantage of the PlayStation Mobile store.
