MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2013 is coming close at 25th February. But HTC seems impatient as an invitation has been sent for a mysterious event that take place on 19th of February.

The event is believed to be the announcement of long-awaited HTC M7, next super phone from HTC. With full HD 5-inch display and 802.11ac standard Wi-Fi capability, HTC M7 is going to be one of the highest class Android phones till date.

For those of you who don’t think you would take the extra premium HTC M7, HTC has some plans for you too. HTC is rumored to unveil two lower end cell phones after the event. The handsets have the code name of M4 and G2 respectively.

HTC M4 is probably a premium device one step below the HTC M7, as its name implies, just like how HTC One S is one step below HTC One X last year. The M4 is believed to be powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It has slightly smaller screen size at 4.3 inches compared to M7, which comes with 4.7-inch display. Of course, smaller screen size indicates lower resolution. Unlike the M7 with 1080p display, the M4 has a display of 720p.

Both HTC M7 and M4 have same amount of RAM at 2 GB and rear camera of similar quality at 13 megapixels. The M4 takes a step down in term of internal storage space and front-facing camera though. While the M7 has 32 GB storage space and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, the M4 only has half of those. Both phones will probably run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with redesigned Sense 5.0 UI.

Another HTC device, the G2, seems to target at developing market. It does not have the same code “M” like the former two devices, with “G” possibly indicates “general purpose”. It runs on 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex processor with a display size of 3.5 inches. Equipped with 4 GB storage and 512 MB RAM, it has “entry-level” feel on every part of the specs.

It is unknown when will the M4 and G2 get unveiled officially by HTC.
